Hublot introduced the Hublot Big Bang Unico San Francisco Boutique Limited Edition 45mm watch that draws inspiration from the City By the Bay. San Francisco is the cultural, commercial, and financial center in the U.S. state of California. It is a popular tourist destination, and is famous for its cool summers, fog, steep rolling hills, eclectic mix of architecture, and landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, the former Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary, Fisherman’s Wharf, and its Chinatown district. The sweeping arches of the Golden Gate Bridge have inspired the Hublot Big Bang Unico San Francisco Boutique Limited Edition’s orange bezel. In fact, the silhouette of the bridge can be seen at 9 o’clock. In a limited release of only twenty pieces, the timepiece is powered with Hublot’s in house Unico movement.
The 45mm skeleton watch comes with two interchangeable straps – black rubber and orange Velcro.
To launch the new timepiece, Hublot joined creative forces with local photographer Justin Walter to make a photoshoot of the timepiece in a photographic series of landmark locations. Because no day by the bay is complete without a world class cocktail hour, Hublot celebrated the launch with an instore event at the Hublot San Francisco boutique where VIP guests were given first access to the highly limited release.
The piece pops with the signature orange bezel that signals home to San Franciscans the world over. Hublot is known for adding special edition pieces to its collection of luxury timepieces, drawing inspiration from brands, industries, individuals, and geographical locations.
